The river is actually part of the planning area where the river starts from Kim Seng Bridge and eventually flows out to the Marina Bay where the Marina barrage is! This river plays a significant part of Singapore’s history when our little island used to be a bustling port of call in the past when people used to trade via ships. The river was very polluted but however after years of major clean up effort. It is now so cleaned. Even animals are coming back. I took a stroll along the river to admire the nature and tranquility and you should too!

A lovely idea to sail on Singapore Cruise along Singapore River and with the ongoing Frozen musical, it will be awesome to take your date by boat and arrive for the musical. It will be the only stop in Southeast Asia and it is going to be at MBS from 5 February to 19 March 2023. What I will recommend is to have dinner at Clark Quay and then take a boat ride around MBS. This journey will take 40 minutes and pass through many landmarks such as Merlion park, Esplanade and etc. Then you can be in time for 8pm show time. #valentinescape
