It is rich in geothermal resources, so it is called the country of ice and fire. There are many fountains, waterfalls, lakes and rushing rivers. The largest river, the Siyur Sao River, is 227 kilometers long. The whole of Iceland is dotted with national parks and nature reserves, the most spectacular of which are the Myvatn Nature Reserve and national parks such as Tingvellir, Jiegu Salon and Skaftafell. The most famous attraction of the Skafath National Park is the Svartifoss waterfall; the Jakusha Lake in the Jeju Salon National Park is a lake formed at the bottom of the glaciers, up to 100 meters deep.
