It is a great place to visit during your stay in Iceland. A short taxi drive from the heart of Reykjavik, and you are there. The facility is big, nice, and clean. - We had private changing rooms with a shower and a locker. - The water is clear and hot, plenty of room to hide from the crowd. One piece of advice - bring a hat with you, it is pretty windy out there! Another thing - beware of benches in the water, they are not visible, and it's easy to hurt your legs cause they are made of stone(I had a couple of bruises after the visit) - Friendly and professional staff members, clean bathrooms, and plenty of dry towels. I highly recommend this place!

At first I didn’t plan on visiting the lagoons because I was worried of how crowded it might be. Then I saw the advertisement for sky lagoon, which was newly opened not too long ago, so I decided to give it a go. When we visited, we happened to see some construction going on nearby. When we asked the staff, we learned that they were planning to expand it. There is no sulphur in the lagoon and you get so much more bang for the buck. At a cheaper price, you get a sky scrub, steam etc. which blue lagoon doesn't provide. It is relatively less crowded too.
