There were swans, sunrise, and Mount Fuji. 🚴10:00 Shiratori-hama After 7:00, there's a bus. Took the bus back to the hotel and rented a bicycle with electric assist. It wasn't tiring. Cycling around the lake took 2 hours. Gave up on "the park" as it opens at 11:00 and there were already many people waiting for viewing spots at 10:00. But actually, just a little bit past "the park," the scenery was also amazing. There's no need to wait specifically. After cycling around the lake, had brunch at Denny's. In the afternoon, took a bus to Lake Kawaguchiko. A perfect day. ❗️Tips The lake bus only starts running at 7:00. To see the sunrise early, you need to take a taxi or stay near Hirano. There are swans in many places, especially at Shiratori-hama, and also at Hirano. Bicycle rentals are available from 9:00 for JPY 2,000 for two hours. Rented from an elderly gentleman near Shiratori-hama. Two hours is enough to cycle around the lake and take photos. You can choose a hotel in Hirano or near a bus stop, which is very convenient.

Although I wasn't particularly interested in the food at the market, the nearby restaurant Janu looked very promising and is worth a try. Additionally, there is an observation deck called タワープラザー (Tower Plaza) at the market, offering stunning views of the Minato Ward, which is a must-see. Recently opened at the end of last year, Azabudai Hills has become a new landmark for shopping and dining for Tokyo visitors. It also features Japan's new tallest building, Mori JP Tower, which dominates the Tokyo skyline. From the 33rd-floor observation deck, you can enjoy a close-up view of Tokyo Tower, and on clear days, the stunning sight of Mount Fuji at sunset. ⚠️ Entry to the observation deck requires a purchase. We took the elevator directly to the 33rd floor, where security informed us that buying a cake was necessary for entry. Other guides suggest going directly to the 34th floor, paying a 500 yen entry fee plus a minimum drink purchase of 800 yen. Buying a cake seems quite worthwhile, priced between 800-1100 yen per person, though eating on the observation deck is not allowed. Azabudai currently hosts a Christmas market, creating a festive atmosphere. The cake we bought was perfect to enjoy at the market. 📷 Photography Tips: Arrive before sunset to enjoy both the sunset and night views. If you set up your phone for time-lapse photography, security will remind you that they are not responsible for any loss.
