#malaysiatrip Slow Wood Coffee is a newly open cafe at Mont Kiara. The entrance of this cafe is lovely as its surrounded by beautiful flowers. You can grab your coffee and scones here. They have different flavours of scone. #malaysiatrip Slow Wood makes good coffee. Their long black reflects a great choice of blend, but their white coffees-lattes and flat whites-are a tad milky. I'm used to a flat white that's 5-6 oz. I've not had their signature drinks but it does look pretty enough that most people would definitely give it a try. The food options are limited to bagels and spreads. They are very good bagels, the compound butter with kombu and truffle is extremely tasty. The ambience here is as good as it gets in the city. Clean minimalist interior design and a very well designed outdoor seated area is comfortable, pleasing to the eye, and quite peaceful overall. The cafe is dog-friendly, and the outdoor area can get quite warm in the afternoons, despite the adequate shading. Many won't mind, but some might. There is also a good amount of parking facilities. Overall, this has become somewhat of a regular for me because I love nearby, the coffees are good, but mostly because it's very accessible for a quick take away. There are probably a lot of little things that they can do to make this place go from very good to great, I do hope they're headed in that direction.

#kualalumpurtrip First time here, but the interior of the cafe is very pretty. Have to order at the counter, relatively small yet complete menu with drinks, pastry and desserts. Coffee is solid but they have mocktail kinda drinks which we thought is kinda too sweet for our liking. The bagel is on the tougher side if u like it, its perfect for you but not for us. Environment and the atmosphere is very relaxing with greenery surrounding the outdoor seatings. A great place to chill out with friends.
