If you want to stroll through the alleys in Tainan and don’t want to go to the crowded Guohua Street or Zhengxing Street, then strolling along #SnailAlley is a great choice. By the way, you can also look for a few snails in SnailAlley!
Snail Alley, located in the Central and Western District, refers to the alleyway surrounded by Yongfu Road, Minsheng Road, Ximen Road and Zhongzheng Road. Although it is adjacent to the busy streets, Snail Alley is extremely quiet, making people slow down their pace unconsciously.
The old houses in Snail Lane are very distinctive. The red brick old buildings are blended with a trendy and simple style, and are quite literary and artistic with colorful paintings and snail installation art. It makes people want to check in and take photos unconsciously, and by the way, collect the figures of snails hiding in the streets and alleys. It is quite interesting.
In addition, temples are indispensable in the alleys of Tainan. There is also a popular #沙淘宫 in Snail Alley, which deifies Prince Nezha. It is common sense that there must be delicious food next to the temple. Yes, the popular #小豪州沙茶炉 is here!
After eating and drinking, you can also go to #政大书城 to supplement your literary literacy, which is quite good.
