Luang Prabang is a province of Laos, located in the north of the country and about 400km from Vientiane. Now you can take high speed trains to LPB it takes about 2h58min or By plane 50min by Lao Airlines. The food there is very cheap and tasty. In this trip I chose Sofitel Luang Prabang for my accommodation. Staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Also, Spa at Sofitel is stunning only $20/1h. And one thing that will make our trip happy is choosing a hotel. Sofitel Luang Prabang is our number one choice for this trip. With the classic style of decoration, the building that gives off the scent of Luang Prabang, one thing that we felt during our stay was the warm welcome, the care of everyone, making us feel at home. This time we stayed in a pool villa room. When we entered, we saw a welcome set waiting for us on the table. It was fruit juice, local Luang Prabang snacks, and a welcome card written in Lao that we could read every word. The room was spacious and perfectly divided into a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and swimming pool. The atmosphere in the hotel is shady. There is a central swimming pool, a restaurant, and a relaxation corner. There is a bicycle rental service to ride around the city. There are only about 20 rooms here, making it quiet and not chaotic. It is suitable for traveling and relaxing. It is another hotel that I would like to recommend. Our stay experience was very good. The hotel has a shuttle that brings you to town as the hotel is not so near the shopping street or markets. In addition, you can also enjoy free afternoon snacks and cocktails by the pool where you can lounge all day and read a book.
