Jiuzhaigou Reed Lake|The encounter of sunshine and wind is the best!
🌾🌾The biggest surprise of my second trip to Jiuzhaigou was encountering Reed Lake in its prime. In winter, Reed Lake, under the double buff of sunshine and breeze, is incredibly beautiful.
The golden reeds are like gold foil crushed by the sun.
A jade-green river winds through the reeds.
Wild ducks 🦆 paddle leisurely in the reed marshes.
The breeze blows gently, the reeds sway freely, rustling, and the water surface sparkles, blingbling ✨……. Time seems to have pressed the pause button. It's a first-aid station for the souls of workers‼️
📷Photo tips:
Although taking photos at Reed Lake is not very time-sensitive, the best way to experience it is with sunshine‼️ As long as there is sunshine, Reed Lake will immediately come alive and be ready for photos. Without sunshine, it is relatively ordinary and loses its vitality. If it is paired with a breeze, then Reed Lake will usher in a highlight moment of "dynamic combination."
Noon and before sunset in the afternoon are the best times to take photos. At noon, the sun is strong, and the water of Reed Lake is completely penetrated and activated, clear and bright, glowing green (P2,3,4,6,16). Before sunset in the afternoon, the light weakens, and the color of the water darkens and is not as clear as at noon, but the soft sunlight sprinkles on the reeds, and the fluffy reed tips are like a touch of gold. When the wind blows, take photos against the light, and the golden hair strands in the same frame as the reeds create a great atmosphere (P1,5,10,14,15).
🌾🌾In summary, the water of Reed Lake is more beautiful at noon, while the reeds are more beautiful in the afternoon, and the overall atmosphere is better.
📍Locations:
1️⃣There is a tree upstream, using a telephoto lens to shoot creates a great sense of space P1, P2
2️⃣The S-shaped river channel in the middle section, shuttling through the golden reeds P3, P13
3️⃣The viewing platform downstream has a good view and is unobstructed P14, P16
🚌Route:
✅Bonsai Shoals Station → walk north along the boardwalk for about 600m → Reed Lake
✅Sparkling Lake Station → walk south along the boardwalk for about 2km → Reed Lake
⚠️⚠️You can choose the route according to your time and physical strength. It is recommended to get off at Sparkling Lake. Although the distance is longer, it is downhill, so it is easier to manage, and you can also take photos and enjoy the scenery along the way. But be sure to arrive at Reed Lake before 4:00 pm, because after 4:30 pm the sun will be blocked by the mountain, and the wrong time will waste your efforts. If you can arrive earlier, there are basically no people, then you will embrace the entire Reed Lake, quietly taking photos and daydreaming🌾🌾
