Our first serious trip to Miaoli was a delightful experience! We took the kids strawberry picking 🍓 during the day and stayed at the Lakeside Flower Time cabin at night. Although we couldn’t book a lakeside room in the main building, we stayed in a cabin nearby. It required a short walk, but as soon as we entered the room, we were greeted by the pleasant scent of wood. This cabin was far more luxurious than we had imagined! It also offered a smaller lake view and featured a Japanese-style platform where you could enjoy tea or snacks. The spacious double bed was perfect for two adults and a child. The bathroom was designed with separate wet and dry areas, and it even had a private hot spring bath. If you prefer, you can also enjoy the outdoor hot spring area, which has several small pools where you can fill water for a private soak. One of the highlights of our stay was meeting their star employee, Ah Goose! This adorable goose brought joy and surprises to all the guests. #AprilGoodDestinations2025 Every year, my brothers and sisters would put aside other things to plan a family travel trip. This year, they decided to take a hot spring trip to Miaoli. After everyone's division of labor, we finally chose the Huashijian Hot Spring B&B located on the lakeside of the big lake. When it was time to travel, a group of people set off for the hot spring B&B in a mighty manner. Besides the beautiful scenery of the lakeside surrounded by mountains and water, the hot spring area is also one of the signature spots here. After dinner and a short rest, we went to the hot spring area to take a bath. The hot spring area mainly consists of outdoor pools. Although there are also indoor hot spring houses, they are few in number. In addition to soaking in the hot springs at night, we rushed to the hot spring pool early the next morning before everyone got up. After soaking in the hot spring and having breakfast, we went outside and walked along the lakeside trail to appreciate the scenery of the lake and mountains. There was a group of white swans gliding leisurely on the lake to find food, and the buildings of the homestay were reflected in the lake, which is also the favorite angle for tourists to take pictures. Not only are there beautiful views of lakes and mountains here, but there are also quiet and comfortable rooms. Everyone was also very satisfied with the accommodation and food for this family trip.
