The Maria Church in Krakow is one of the most beautiful ancient Gothic buildings in Poland. It is 81 meters high and is a very eye-catching building around the square. It was built in memory of Maria. Maria Church has been the main cathedral in the city for centuries, and the church has the architectural style typical of early Christian churches. The building is constructed of handcrafted red bricks and the main body of the church was completed at the end of the 14th century. The interior decoration, the tower and the top of the church took a whole century to build. The Gothic spire was completed in 1478, and the golden crown on the spire was added in 1666, representing the crown of the then Polish Queen Maria. The tower is also used as a bell tower. There are five giant bells in it, which are equally famous from one to five o'clock on the hour, and the melodious bell can be heard even in the far suburbs. Every hour, the trumpeter on the church bell tower blows the trombone. According to records, it was handed down to commemorate a trumpeter who was loyal to his duties and stood firm in his post in resisting alien invasions in the Middle Ages.
