📝 Personal experience
Duoliang Station is located in Taimali Township, Taitung County, close to the Pacific Ocean. Due to its excellent geographical location, it is known as "the most beautiful station in Taiwan." Standing on the elevated platform, you can see the boundless sea view in front of you. The train shuttles through it as if it is running on the sea. The scene is so beautiful that it takes your breath away.
Although Tara Station ceased passenger service in 2006, it has become a popular tourist attraction due to its unique scenery. The station retains the original platforms and railings, and has a viewing platform for tourists to take photos.
There are stalls selling drinks and snacks around the station, allowing tourists to enjoy local food while appreciating the beautiful scenery. In addition, nearby attractions such as Long Tribe and Jinlun Hot Spring are also worth visiting.
It is worth noting that a cleaning fee of NT$10 is required to enter Duoliang Station, while children under 6 years old, people with disabilities, and Taimali villagers can enter for free.
Overall, Tara Station is an excellent attraction that combines natural beauty and cultural customs. Whether you are a railway fan, a photography enthusiast, or a traveler seeking spiritual healing, you can find your own touch here.
