About 1 hour ish later, I have arrived at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah airport which was formerly known as Subang airport. This is also a smaller airport compared to KLIA and all passengers will have to climb a few stairs to exit the plane. Then walk over to the immigration which has 3 manual counters. There are no auto counters here but there are Duty Free shopping available. Once you exit the security area, you can access the shopping and dining area and proceed to take taxi or private hire. The public train at Subang Skypark which cost 11 ringgit one way to KL Sentral had stopped operating. A private hire ride to KL Sentral will cost about 29 to 30 ringgit and you will need to pay tolls which is around 5.30 ringgit depending on the hours. #kualalumpur #malaysia #liveyourdreams #takethattrip

UPON INVITATION, WE VISITED THIS HALAL RESTAURANT FOR LUNCH. THE RESTAURANT IS OPENED FROM 11AM-10PM AND IT IS SITUATED NEXT TO THE SULTAN ABDUL AZIZ SHAH AIRPORT (SUBANG AIRPORT). THE RESTAURANT IS FAMOUS FOR THEIR SIGNATURE SMOKED CHICKEN, SMOKED BEEF AND SMOKED DUCK COOKED IN SPICY COCONUT GRAVY (MASAK LEMAK CILI API). THE DISH ORIGINATES FROM NEGERI SEMBILAN, A STATE IN MALAYSIA. WE HAD THE SMOKED CHICKEN AND MUD CREEPER; A TYPE OF SEA SNAIL (SIPUT SEDUT) WITH WHITE RICE, SAMBAL, DRIED FISH AND ULAM. THE GRAVY AND THE SAMBAL WERE SPICY BUT THEY ADDED THE KICK ESPECIALLY WHEN WE COMBINED THE ULAM TO THE RICE. The only way to travel from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. From immigration clearance to getting onto grab takes less than 20 minutes. Love Subang Arrival or departure hall, cosy and not overwhelming chaotic. There is a instant noodles cooking stove here at Nice to C U inside Subang airport. This is interesting and the children get to choose their favorite Korean noodles and cook it in the aluminum bowl provided. There are also seating area outside so you can enjoy your freshly cooked instant noodles. Not to forget to complete the meal with a Korean banana milk. It is refreshing to have Nice to C U at Subang airport. The food choices over here are almost like the shopping center in town. The bad weather delayed all the flights at Subang airport and this was a few days after the turbulence news. So higher vigilance was noticed on my flights and passengers were belted up at all times too. I had too much time at the airport. Luckily there is a Book Xcess vending machine at the boarding area and I could buy some reading materials. There was also coffee machine and snacks too. Subang airport might be small but it is well-equipped to keep passengers entertained. The checking in and boarding procedures at Subang airport (Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport) are so easy and Firefly airlines accept self-printed boarding passes too. So if you do not have any luggage to check in, you do not even need to go to the check in desks. You can proceed to immigration with your passport and boarding pass. It is a small airport so less walking and less waiting time and you can check in and walk right to the boarding gates. I had time to spare so I explored the upper levels at Subang airport. I discovered more eateries here and an observatory deck here. It was awesome to see the airplanes taking off and landing. The seatings area at HWC coffee place and Old Town White Coffee have windows seats facing the airport runway too. These eateries are open to the public so it also means that you can even have a coffee date here. I prefer this airport to KLIA because it is less crowded and shorter distance to reach Kuala Lumpur city center. Malaysia KL is quite far from the city to the airport, but if you are traveling domestically or nearby, it is more convenient to use #SultanAbdulAzizShahAirport in Subang!! There are quite a few places to eat in the airport, and surprisingly, there is also a CU convenience store ㅋㅋ!!!! I looked around the airport by myself and got on the plane.
