On a hot day, we started with two refreshing cold drinks. I had the Pineapple Black Tea, and my friend had the Brown Sugar Pearl Milk. Both drinks tasted great and, most importantly, were not too sweet, so we could drink more without feeling guilty. My friend's Braised Beef Noodles featured thick, tender, and flavorful beef, with chewy noodles that had a great texture. I had the Traditional Pork Knuckle Bento. The pork knuckle was tender and flavorful, with plenty of meat, and it came with a generous portion of braised pork rice, making it both delicious and good value. We also ordered two freshly fried snacks: Taiwanese Salt and Pepper Squid, which had a thin and crispy batter and chewy squid that was so good we couldn't stop eating it.
