#Share travel plan Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam is very popular. So I will share a travel plan that I went for 3 days and 2 nights. Day 1: Don Mueang Airport 12.00 hrs. Arrive at Phu Quoc Airport 13.20 hrs. Passing through immigration doesn't take long, about 20 minutes. 📍Come out and call Grab to the hotel. Stay at Lotus Home Corner & Rooftop in Sunset Town, the southern part of Phu Quoc Island. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the accommodation. Check in, pack your bags. 📍Thap Dong Ho Clock Tower, which is a landmark of the city. 📍Observatory dai quan sat Viewpoint on the rooftop to watch the sunset. 📍Vui-fest Bazaar Phi Quoc is a walking street with snacks, barbecue, restaurants. You can have dinner here. 📍Watch the fireworks show at the hotel. Starting at 21.30 hrs. Every day. Day 2: Today we will go to Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park. Ride the very long and high Cable Car and play in the water park. > After having breakfast at the hotel Then waved for a golf cart to take us to Hon Thom Departure Terminal, which is the cable car station. It opens at 9:00 AM. Since we had some time left, the station was not open yet, so we went for a walk and took some pictures around there. The recommended spot is Quang Truong Ga An Thoi. > Hon Thom Cable Car takes about 25 minutes. The view along the way is very beautiful. > RuNam is a restaurant and cafe with delicious food. At night, you can book a table to watch the fireworks display. > Kiss Bridge is very beautiful for taking pictures. > Phu Quoc Night Market is a very crowded night market with food, household items, seafood, and pearls. > Come back to watch the fireworks display at the hotel. Day 3: The last day, wake up, pack your bags, and have breakfast at the hotel (the food is delicious). > Thang Rong Flower Stairs is an S-shaped staircase that makes for beautiful pictures. > Lotus Home Cafe recommends egg coffee. It's very delicious, you have to try it. It's a cute cafe. > Thap But Chi, a pencil-shaped tower, is right across from the accommodation. > Check out of the accommodation, call a Grab to Phu Quoc Airport. There are a lot of people, so I recommend leaving extra time. When passing through the scanner, you must take off your shoes. > Phu Quoc Airport 13.50 hrs., arrive at Don Mueang Airport 15.15 hrs. End of the 3 days 2 nights trip. Overall, it is beautiful and has a good atmosphere, as expected of a sunset city. There are not many people. It is quiet and suitable for relaxing or taking pictures to get a European feel. There will be a free shuttle bus outside the cable car station to take tourists to Bãi Trào Beach. It only takes a few minutes to reach the beach. Like milk coffee but with more egg flavor, not sweet, very special • Cross-sea cable car: Arrived at about 3:30 p.m., not many people can take two people in one car ⛅ The scenery is beautiful, but it is not easy to take pictures (the cable car structure blocks it) On the other side is Sun Island Paradise, which is mainly for water activities and suitable for a whole day ⚠️ The cable car is the only way to return. The last one is at 17:30, and there were already too many people when we returned at 5:00! • Dinner was back at The Home Pizza 😅 Seriously, I don’t recommend pasta, but Pizza is delicious! 📍Day 5: Return to the airport Wake up in the morning and go directly to the airport ✈️ Phu Quoc Airport is very small👉 It is recommended to eat before departure! ⸻ 📌 If you value convenient transportation, it is not recommended to choose a hotel in the north 📌 Phu Quoc Island is very chill overall, and there are many unexpected surprises~

1. Purchase tickets in advance on Trip.com and take a taxi to 📍Hon Thom Cable Car, which serves as the entrance to the park. 2. The cable car operates in two time slots: 9:00-11:30 and 13:30-17:00. Enter the park at 10:00 AM and leave at 4:00 PM. The cable cars are usually full, and the return trip at 4:00 PM may require a 40-minute wait. If you want photos of an empty cable car, plan to avoid peak times. 3. There's no need to buy buffet tickets as they are reportedly expensive and not tasty. Have a hearty breakfast at your hotel, and if you get hungry in the park, there’s a pizza shop near the artificial wave area in the water park. 4. The park is relatively small and follows a straightforward path. Start with the land attractions (roller coaster and observation deck) before heading to the water park. The roller coaster usually has no queues, though it’s said to be bumpy. If the observation deck has long lines, it’s not worth the wait as the viewing time is short. You can visit it after finishing the water park at 4:00 PM when there’s no queue (but you’ll need to walk in the opposite direction of the exit). 5. Wear beach shoes or water shoes when visiting the water park. Flip-flops must be left behind, and walking barefoot will feel like stepping on a reflexology mat. Only a few attractions prohibit swimwear with zippers or metal parts.

Phu Quoc, often referred to as Vietnam's Maldives, was selected by as one of the 'must-visit destinations before it becomes too famous.' I made sure to visit it again before it gets even more popular. My impression of Phu Quoc is that the hospitality here feels genuine and understated, unlike the overly polished friendliness often found in major tourist spots. It's not unfriendly, but it doesn't feel exaggerated, which I appreciated. One of the reasons I returned to Phu Quoc is its relatively quiet roads, with fewer cars and motorbikes compared to places like Da Nang or Nha Trang. This makes it feel more pleasant and less crowded. However, this also means that the tourism infrastructure is still somewhat lacking compared to other regions in Vietnam. If you're tired of the hustle and bustle of typical tourist destinations, with honking motorbikes and cars, Phu Quoc offers a serene escape. As budget travelers, we opted for cost-effective accommodations. Using Trip.com, we stayed at Muong Thanh and Sonaga resorts. Here are some recommendations: - VinHolidays Fiesta (walking distance to Grand World) - Muong Thanh Luxury Hotel (not perfect, but manageable) - Sonaga Beach Resort (affordable pool villas, though some facilities are a bit outdated) Phu Quoc is divided into three main areas: North, Central, and South. **North Phu Quoc Highlights:** - Key attractions: VinWonders, Safari, Grand World, Starfish Beach, basket boats - Local food spots: Co Oi (best sweet Bun Cha), Pho Tam Banh Cuon, Madam Tao, food courts, Cafe Green (my favorite mango bingsu), Miss Saigon **Central and South-Central Phu Quoc Highlights:** - Key attractions: Duong Dong Night Market, King Kong Mart, The Peak (popular among influencers), Sailing Club, Ho Quoc Pagoda, Ice Jungle, Sonasi Night Market, various restaurants - Local food spots: Meo Kitchen (my favorite Banh Xeo), Banh Xeo Co Oi 3, Tom House, Mr. Seafood, Bong BBQ, Chubby Girl, OK Bistro, Ricordo (pizza), Banh Mi Saigon (available via Grab delivery, amazing Banh Mi) **South Phu Quoc Highlights:** - Key attractions: Hon Thom Cable Car, Sao Beach, Sunset Town, Buoi Festa Night Market, Kiss of the Sea - Local food spots: Com Gia Dinh, Pho Nuong Seafood & Meat Grill (outdoor dining, some dust), Banh Xeo Co Oi 2, Lu Nam Cafe (great for enjoying Kiss of the Sea views), Nhà Hàng Cơm Niêu Việt Xưa - An Thới **North Phu Quoc:** VinWonders, Vietnam's Disney-like theme park, is a must-visit. Phu Quoc's VinWonders and Safari are separate attractions, requiring individual tickets. Don't miss the 2 PM mermaid show at the aquarium and the 6:45 PM fountain show (Once Show). For Safari, I recommend either an early morning visit or a night safari tour. At Grand World, the water taxi (gondola) and Dinh Hoa Show are must-sees. Unfortunately, we missed the Dinh Hoa Show, but we plan to catch it next time. The fountain show at Grand World is a highlight you shouldn't miss—it completes your North Phu Quoc experience. I suggest finding a spot at nearby cafes or restaurants early to enjoy the view (note: fireworks are suspended during the rainy season from June to August). **South Phu Quoc:** Sun World Hon Thom Cable Car, the world's longest cable car, includes access to a water park and amusement park. While the shower facilities are somewhat worn, the wave pool and lazy river are perfect for kids and families. Although the water slides looked thrilling, we were too scared to try them. The wave pool and lazy river alone were enjoyable enough. The rides are said to be fun, but we didn't try them due to our fear. Near the locker room, I highly recommend the pizzeria for black beer, pepperoni pizza, and fries. After the Kiss of the Sea performance, the fireworks display is truly spectacular. While there are many more attractions, I've only listed the ones we've personally visited and can vouch for.
