I always love it when my kids are close to nature and on days that we are all free, I would definitely make a point to bring my boys out to be little explorers. This time round, I took them to Sungei Buloh wetland Reserve. It was a great opportunity for us to bond as a family but it was also an amazing time for us to exercise we hike or walk through the different trails at Sungei buloh wetland reserve. If your eyes are sharp, you may even spot crocodiles at the wetland reserves, birds, mudskipper and so many more animal species. As we all learn about these creatures, we also took time to appreciate the greenery around us and enjoy the fresh air at the reserve. There is also an educational corner with specimens of plants and animals, and it's great for kids to learn new information. A small maze area with stepping wooden blocks is there for kids to play as well. Besides that, you can climb uo a watch tower and that gives you an amazing view of the wetlands and the surrounding water area. My family and I already can't wait for our next visit to Sungei buloh, you should plan a trip there too. #wecreate

Took my family for some adventure walk to this wetland reserve. Really surprised to see so many animals/reptiles/birds in this area. My kids were excited to see them at such close distance. We started the day earlier about 0730hr on a weekday and the crowd was manageable. This is a highly recommended place to visit and do some family bonding. I am sure this is a place where every visit is going to be different and very enjoyable one! 👍😉

Visited on a Saturday evening. Parking was easy and the park was not crowded. There are a variety of flora and fauna and we spotted frogs, insects, spiders, giant iguana and even a huge crocodile 🐊 in the waters. The sprawling park is huge and it will take more than a visit to cover the entire park. But it is definitely worth making another trip to be back to this lovely place. Perhaps in the morning to enjoy the early morning fresh air and spot some birds.

Singapore 739453 hiking along wetland reserve was interesting as there might be a chance you encounter monitor lizards crossing your path. it’s a man made mangrove ecosystem so aside from birds please expect a lot of mosquitoes (bring repellent!) was quite an enjoyable hike; personally felt the place was small. finish hiking that area in an hour? nice views as it overseas johor. cute chestnut structure that you can only see at sungei buloh. I went on Sunday so there were ALOT of people having a picnic there. enjoyable hike overall as it’s mostly cement road :)

Though it is a bit far from the centre area of the city, the transportation is quite convenient to reach anywhere in Singapore, so was not that hard to get there. I was able to look around a little explanation space/galleries, walk the nature and was lucky enough to see an eagle at the dock! This is tucked away in the northern part of the island. A friend mentioned about it, and I was surprised by the crowd when I got there around noon on a Sunday - maybe the weekend crowd visiting the nearby Sungei Buloh Wetland & Kranji, and it was raining earlier. The rurual ambience is nice and relaxing, with the restaurant facing a large pool. Offers both western and local food. The food is tasty, presentation is nice too. I love the ceasar salad and the seafood platter. They also sell beer, quite a number of varieties. Price wise, reasonable with that kind of food standard and environment. A beautiful and diverse habitat to visit. The reserve is home to many kinds of plants and animals in the forests and mangroves. We were able to see a monitor lizard, a king cobra, many species of birds, mudskippers, mangrove horseshoe crabs among others. Crocodiles and monkeys are found there, but we weren't lucky enough to see them during our visit. I am damn sure that it will be a good spot for spend a good time with loved one. #couplestrip

For nature lovers, this is the spot to go. Located in the North Western part of Singapore, it’s a wetland reserve that boasts beautiful scenery and the widest array of animals in Singapore (apart from the zoo). We even saw a crocodile swimming past and the biggest monitor lizard I’ve ever seen living in Singapore!! Must visit!! I recommend going early in the morning to to beat the heat and the crowds and avoid disappointment in case of high tide (they will close the route if it’s high tide as all the animals come out on the paths and it can get dangerous 😱)

#singaporetrip This coastal trail is very well built and maintained. I highly recommend it. It takes you to the water’s edge and you get to observe the wetlands from a comfortable vantage point. the most "touristy" and "instagrammable" attractions, the Kingfisher pod. Considered friendly for small compact pram, especially good if you have those parent steered toddler bicycles. However there are some zones with steps so do expect some workout. But that is the point of coming here, to workout a little.
