[2025 Singapore Shopping Mall] Travel Guide for Sunshine plaza (Updated Mar)

Just a short distance from the main shopping belt of Orchard Road, you can find a quaint Japanese restaurant in Sunshine Plaza shopping centre. The authentic Japanese food here is good and affordable, especially the absolutely fresh salmon! Only issue is because it is a small space, there aren’t many seats so waiting time can be long during peak dining periods. However, I do think it is worth the wait for delicious and cheap food! The second part of the subway museum brings you to fun subway sandwich making games inspired by arcades. 
Visitors get to experience making sandwiches through “phy-gital" (hybrid of physical and digital) games. The first game is to “knead the dough”. The second to spot the missing ingredient. Third to slice the vegetables. Fourth to pour the sources. To be honest I didn’t expect myself to enjoy the games so much as it’s after an almost free exhibition. But I am glad I came! Nobody can say no to free games hehe. Remember to check our their merchandise store! #mustvisit Big Museum of Taste Subway Address: 11 Prinsep Link, Singapore 187949 A must visit and you can redeem your subway receipt for tickets to enter this interactive museum. So go enjoy some delicious sandwich or cookies and fulfil the redemption requirements to redeem the entry tickets. There is an oversized subway sandwich at the open field too. It is interesting to see such a huge sandwich in the open field and you can really see it from far. You would not miss this sandwich. It was late when I arrived and the staff advised me to come back another day so I can have more time in the museum. This museum is from 10 to 30 Aug 2022 and they are open everyday. Monday to Thursday 10am to 9pm and Friday to Sunday 10am to 10pm. This location is nearby Sunshine Plaza/Parklane Shopping mall.

So glad to be able to visit the first ever subway pop up museum before it ends. 
The Subway® Big Museum of Taste or ("Subway® Museum") in Singapore brings us to the history behind the original submarine sandwich icon. Visitors would be greeted with big subway signs and even a gigantic sandwich instillation at the entrance. I nearly missed it because it was dark at night. Upon entering the museum, all visitors will be issued a NFC pass where you can scan around to collect ingredients. There is also history of the brand, followed by fun questions for you to know more about the brand. Followed by arcade games that I will talk about on another post. Address - 91 Bencoolen St, #01-49 Sunshine Plaza, Singapore 189652 This is my go-to Dim Sum place. Weekdays lunch is generally not crowded but if you come during weekend, it is advisable to come around 11plus so that you don’t have to wait. Love their Ice HK Ying Yang as the drink is thick and ice was separated in order not to dilute the drink. My recommended dishes are XO sauce Carrot Cake, Golden Lava buns, Wala wala porridge.

#artshunting #tripblazers The gallery arts school is located within the sunshine plaza. I am so impressed by the showcasing of the art work by the primary school students there. The teachers were patient to teach every student to ensure that they are able to conceptualise what they want to draw, as well as choosing the right combination of colours. Each artpiece is the effort and hardship put in by the student. The students should be proud of their own art work as they are displayed at the gallery around the class.
