I visited Svinafellsjokull. It takes about an hour by car from Diamond Beach. There is no entrance fee, but parking costs around 1000 yen per car. There is a glacier observation deck about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. I didn't know about this place in advance, but I'm glad I stopped by.
