It is one of the few places on the Tagaytay Ridge where travelers can see Taal Lake and the mighty Taal Volcano. The 13-hectare Picnic Grove is more than just a spot to have a picnic. It also has a variety of leisure opportunities. Visitors will take souvenir pictures on two zip lines and a suspended cable car.

The park is spacious, and there are courses that are perfect for picnics, like walks or excursions. First of all, the climate is cool and it is said to be the Karuizawa of the Philippines, which was very pleasant compared to the hot Manila. You can also enjoy horse riding. Tagaytay picnic grove is the cheapest place to rest in Philippines provided you packed your sandwiches. Entrance fee is 85 PHP, children up to 3 y.o. free, others on discount. There is a place to walk with panoramic views and a bridge. The road may be slippery after a rain, so bring appropriate shoes Place is very crowded and parking place is limited. Unless the great view there is nothing to see.

#2024wish The park was nice, lots of people, a little hard to navigate the narrow trails and stairs because traffic dose not always flow two directions or people stopping in the middle of the walkways to take pictures, so don't get in a hurry, rides are a bit overpriced for the experience, but not terrible, just expect to pay more. The views are extremely nice, lots of shops and food, just make sure to rent your table, they have different rates for different tables. I wish to travel to south korea in 2024

#2024wish This place had more amenities compared to what i remember. There are lots of parking spaces. Lines are always expected when paying for entrance fees/parking but once you get past all the people in the entrance, you can enjoy the cool breeze of tagaytay. Probably best to visit when there aren't a lot of people if you want to unwind. There is a wide grass area where kids can run and play. It's a nice picnic area. You can bring your own food here. There are also a lot of souvenir shops for tourists to buy to. Really enjoyed my experience here with family ☺️. Beautiful area with amazing views, lovely shops and zipline.

#timetotravel I have been to this Picnice Grove a few time furing my uni years and just recently visited it this year. I must say that this has the best view of the Taal Volcano. The entire place is not how its used to be though. It is definitely showing its age and needs revamping. They still offer of course the zip lining and horse riding for extra cost apart from the actual entrance fee and a table/shed fee. I suggest you bring your own food to fully enjoy your picnic day here while looking at the beautiful Taal Volacano and it's lake. A lovely day getaway to enjoy time with friends and family. On a good weather day, get there early and scope out your own gazebo with table. Can play games, get to experience overlooking the lovely view of Taal Lake and volcano. Once in a lifetime trip if you're staying in Tagaytay be sure to check this off your list.

This is one of those best places to go if you visit if you want to see the Taal volcano. Entrance fees are very affordable. They have lots of Kubo to stay in if you want to rest or eat.
