First stop is Dim Sum at Jiah Xiang at Plaza Sentosa. Dim sum is not bad and relatively affordable. Love the stir fried carrot cake. After that, we dropped by Mid Valley Southkey. The mall is well-decorated with christmas decor and there are few photo spots for you to take pictures and soak in the Christmas vibe. Took a little break after shopping at the mall and went to eat Penang Chendol. The Chendol taste slightly different from Singapore due to the milk. We dug into their Laksa – seriously tasty stuff, and the Char Kway Kak was bursting with flavor, especially with that soy sauce and Chai Po. Washed it down with some legit traditional coffee topped with butter, and their Hainanese Butter Kaya Toast was the bomb – soft inside, crispy outside. #familytrips2024 This year we celebrate Mother's Day at Daiman Pekin Restaurant in the Daiman 18 Golf Club clubhouse in Johor Jaya. We sat by a window with a nice view of the golf course. The restaurant looks really nice, with everything carefully designed by professionals. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. We love dishes like Claypot Sea Cucumber Scallop Stew, Crispy Prawns Salad, and Claypot Salted Fish Minced Meat Tofu. But the Peking Duck was a bit dry for us. They also have different drinks like tea, juice, and wine. Must order the dessert Mango Pomelo Sago shaved ice, so delicious.
