Tai Mei Tuk Hidden High Quality Restaurant
On the night of our wedding anniversary, we went to Tai Mei Tuk, because we saw a Western restaurant here with a high satisfaction level in "🍚", so we came to try it.
R&Y’s International Cuisine is a Western restaurant located on the ground floor of a village house, like private kitchen! We ordered the Christmas Set, just looking at the menu, seeing that there are many high quality ingredients has been very attractive.
First, let's take a bite of parma ham with sour vinegar sauce. It looks beautiful and is great for taking pictures.
Then there’s the Appetiser—“White Wine Stewed Yachi Bamboo Heart, Smoked Salmon and Crabmeat Salad + Grilled Norwegian Lobster with Black Caviar”.
The Yachi Bamboo is cooked in a special way. It is wrapped with smoked salmon. The Yachi Bamboo absorbs the flavor of the crab meat salad, which is very soft and delicious. And the lobster is very fresh and bouncy, served with black caviar, great!
Then there is the "Vanilla Butter Baked Cognac Wild Mushroom Stewed Snails".
"Fried Hokkaido Scallops with Mixed Vegetable Middle Eastern Rima", the scallops are half-cooked and pan-fried until crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. In addition to the eye-catching Hokkaido scallops, there are also mixed vegetables cut as small as Rima, smooth and slightly creamy.
“Cognac Wild Mushroom Concentrate with Fragrant Pan-fried French Foie Gras,” the wild mushroom soup is creamy.
The chef of each previous dish will appear and learn that the chef, the owner, has worked abroad and likes to cook with high-quality ingredients from various countries to suit the taste of Hong Kong people. He also explained to us that because it was too late to know we were here for dinner, he couldn't order Australian ribeye and Spanish red shrimp, but he replaced the American Prime and flower bamboo shrimp instead, which was serious, I thought I was eating over a thousand dollars of Western food.
Then there is the Main course, which has 2 items, namely “American Prime Ribeye with French Fries” & “Spicy Pan-fried Silver Snowfish and Flower Bamboo Shrimp with Martini Cream Sauce.
The ribeye steak is gluten-free, soft in texture, and grilled quite fragrantly. The silver snowfish is very fragrant, the shrimp🦐 is bouncy enough and has freshness.
Finally, there is the "dessert platter", Tiramisu & cheese cake is handmade by the owner, especially smooth, with a strong vanilla flavor, and written "Happy Anniversary"💖!
This hidden restaurant is not on the roadside. We had to ask someone to find it. If you want to come, remember to walk up the road next to the Tai Mei Tuk Village Hall and you will see it.
