The Taihu Yuan Scenic Area is located in Lin'an, close to the border with Anji, about a 2-hour drive from the main urban area of Hangzhou. The scenic area claims to be the 'Little Jiuzhaigou of the South of the Yangtze River,' but it seems to have little in common with Jiuzhaigou. Perhaps I visited at the wrong time? I didn't see the water being particularly abundant or green. The glass walkway is quite ordinary, nothing special, but the scenery on both sides is okay. Various pavilions and temple attractions are also quite mundane. The only fun part is that after descending from the glass walkway, you can trace the stream upwards to the source of Taihu Lake.
