Golden Waves - Brown Boulevard
Returning once again to Brown Boulevard, this place remains my favorite rural landscape. There are no unnecessary utility poles disrupting the skyline, nor are there chaotic tin-roofed houses ruining the view captured by the camera. A gentle breeze sweeps through the rice paddies, carrying the sweet aroma of ripened grains. The intoxicating scent of rice fills the air, but thankfully, being "rice drunk" doesn't fall under the scope of DUI laws, so I can still ride an electric rental bike and explore freely. On regular days, Brown Boulevard is tranquil, and bike rentals are not time-restricted—you just need to return them before the shop closes. This gives me plenty of time to enjoy local snacks in town, wander through every alley, and explore the paths and trails to uncover the beauty of Chishang.
If you haven't visited Chishang yet, you absolutely must. Be sure to check the season when the rice turns golden, so you can witness the golden coastline that grows from this soil. Come and experience it for yourself!
