Kangar on the northern of peninsula Malaysia might not be a popular travel destination however it can be a pit stop to several other destination such as Langkawi where Kuala Perlis jetty is less than 30 minutes drive away. You can also drive further north for 30 minutes to reach the Wang Kelian View Point. Thus Kangar indeed can be your pit stop for the northern part of Malaysia

#myhiddengems The ó order. A lunch set promotion with a piece of cake. The same server attends my order. There are two choices for a drink and order the Ice lemon tea. I ask for certain cakes but he confirms it to be sold out. Around 5 minutes, my drink is served. Then the cake also arrives, for the lunch set I order Asam Laksa. The asam laksa takes quite sometimes to be served. Another server bought me the cutlery set for the asam laksa. I waited almost 25 minutes the asam laksa to arrive regardless it is lunch hour so the kitchen must be a bit busy with other order. The asam laksa arrives after I ask the server for my dish. My dish is filling and satisfying. While making payment the staff apologize for me for my dish to be a little bit late. Overall the dining experience is satisfying. All the opinion and experience is mine.

Not like it's beautiful name, only a few flowery pot and definitely lots of monkeys, lotongs and even small ape. Thought of spending a few hours, end up just dropped by for a few minutes. An area suitable for recreation, jogging and sports for the whole family. But, more careful care from the responsible party is required.

Decided to drive from Singapore to the border of Malaysia/Thailand. It was an amazing drive and never expected to see the Mountain View at Kangar in Perlis. If it is not because of the rain clouds coming in, we would have stayed a night there.

hi. first time I tried food at this cafe. The food is good but needs to be improved. My expectation on taste is so high. I love the pasta. spicy and sweet does not disappointed. but not with Nasi Pad Kra Paw. it tasted a bit salty. the space inside the cafe is very beautiful and clean. Has been staying at this hotel many times. Its a pleasant stay and good location. Near to town and just 10mins drive to Kuala Perlis where u can have a good and cheap seafood for dinner. Recommended.
