The cafe is set in a grand mansion where you can enjoy the view of the lush greenery and the dry landscape garden! While admiring such a beautiful scenery, I had the black bean soft serve! It was rich and very delicious! When I was leaving, the staff told me a lot about the garden and the mansion, which was very interesting! Near the Tamba Sasayama Castle, the sake brewery 'Hōmei' opened the 'Horoyoi Jokagura' as a tour facility in 2001. The building is also registered as a tangible cultural property of the country. Visitors can freely tour the old tools and panels used in actual sake brewing, as well as the rice washing area, steaming area, and koji room. The Sasayama Courthouse was in use from 1870 to 1981. At the time, it was one of the oldest wooden courthouses in Japan, and was designated a town cultural asset in 1982 as an important building.
