Location: Next to Tampines Mrt Avg cost: $4-$6 Ambience: 4/5 Having been to a couple of night markets in Singapore, this is definitely the one I'll recommend for everyone to visit. There's a huge variety of food options available such as local favorites like Tutu Kueh, Teochiew Oyster Cake, to overseas cuisines like Kebab and Smelly Tofu. The best thing is the whole area is very spacious and clean with lots of seats too, which makes the whole dining experience more enjoyable. After your meal, you can also shop at the nearby booths selling home essentials and there's also fun and games at the uncle Ringo minifair next to it. Lastly, don't forget to check-in at the unique corner decorated with lots of Neon lights related to the night market. L32 is a famous handmade noodles stall that has its original outlet in 558 geylang lorang 32, hence the name L32 handmade noodles. Now, L32 noodles has another outlet at Tampines 1 food court on the top floor and the food court is called food tampo. Their noodles are famous as it is not machine made and a great texture. It is not doughy, cooked to perfection and their soup is very flavourful, thus this earned them multiple awards such as the class 96 Gastro eats award, the top 100 hawker award, and even the Singapore Best Foods award. You can have different variations for their noodles, from comforting soup noodles with pork, or fishballs or fried cutlet, to dry saucy noodles to spicy tom yum noodles. Their Flagship store is actually at Geylang Road but they have a sister brand located at Tampines 1 (Food Tempo) which is more convenient and easier accessible by the Tampines MRT and Tampines Bus Interchange. Here, there is air conditioning to enjoy and you need this cold air since they are also famous for their chilli. It is really spicy and nice! I love their chilli. Please take them if you are able to take spicy food. There is also soup or dry version to choose them and they are the same prices.
