A visit to Jakarta is not complete without Tanah Abang Textile Market. It is a perfect shopping destination, for clothings, bags and shoes which offers a great bargain. This area is very crowded with shoppers from all over the world. Most of them will come here to get the goods in bulk. I spend almost 2 hours here, to get some quality batik and a bag at a very attractive price. After shopping, I tried out a very nice coffee from the portable hawker stall, which is very famous among the local people here. It only cost me IDR5,000 per cup. The local flavors are amazing, and you can taste authentic Indonesian cuisine for a fraction of the cost you'd expect at restaurants. We also visited Bandung, which offered a more relaxed vibe compared to Jakarta, with plenty of scenic spots, cafes, and unique shopping experiences. Bandung’s cooler climate was a pleasant change, and we enjoyed discovering its hidden gems. Overall, both cities offer a fantastic mix of modern culture, traditional charm, and amazing food.
