[Bintan Island] From Singapore to Bintan Island
Here's how to get to Bintan Island in neighboring Indonesia from Singapore!
When leaving Singapore, use the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, and the boarding time is about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
*Details attached on the 7th page
The price depends on the date, but on the day I went, I got a round trip ticket for $90 (1$=110) (¥9,900) per person. Also, if you choose Emerald depending on the seat rank, it will be a little more expensive, but you will receive services such as wider seats, priority lanes, and seat assignments.
With a regular ticket, you can choose your seat, so if you are prone to motion sickness or are particular about your seat, I recommend checking in early and lining up at the front.
At the resort I stayed at previously, [The Sanchaya], you will be taken to the Sanchaya VIP lounge as soon as you arrive at the terminal.
And while I was waiting in the lounge, the staff inspected my luggage, collected my checked luggage, and processed my immigration, and once everything was ready, I was taken to Sanchaya by shuttle.
I've never had an immigration experience like this anywhere else, so it was a very valuable and wonderful experience♡! If you want to try a slightly unusual service on Bintan Island in Indonesia, I think there are now more hotels with VIP lounges, so it's a good idea to choose a hotel based on the lounge♪
