Starting from Niujie, head to Taoranting Park. On the way, you will pass by a mosque and the popular Romantic Hutong. Enjoy some snacks while strolling, and bring some more snacks into the park. The restaurants near Niujie Jubaoyuan are always crowded, but the one near the park entrance has fewer people and is a bit cheaper by one or two yuan. I bought some fried pork, which is re-fried after being weighed, so you have to wait a few minutes. The freshly fried pork has a crispy outer layer and is quite fragrant. One portion has about six or seven pieces, which is quite filling. The location is more than a hundred meters from the park entrance, making it perfect to buy some and take inside to eat slowly.
