[2025 Semporna Stay] Travel Guide for TD Mutiara Hotel (Updated Jun)

🐟Affordable version of Maldives Semporna 7-day trip sharing🐟 Sharing of 7-day trip to Semporna After taking the AOW exam in Phuket in March Can't wait Come to this aquarium of God Diving in Sipadan But to be honest, I was a little disappointed with my first dive in Sipadan... This time I went from Hong Kong to Kuala Lumpur and then to Tawau Later I realized that I shouldn't do that, haha Because HKG-KL-TWU 4 hours + 2 hours Normally HKG-BKI-TWU 3 hours + 50 minutes So I took an extra 2 hours on the flight. But it doesn’t matter, I want to go to Kuala Lumpur 😎 After arriving at Tawau Airport, I shared a car to Semporna The price is 60RMB It took about 1 hour and 10 minutes to reach the hotel. This time we stayed at a hotel in Semporna town. Name: TD Pearl Hotel Price: 200 HKD per night (including breakfast for 2 persons) Location: close to the lively places and the pier About 8 minutes walk Note: The hotel has basically no facilities But the room is spacious and the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. There is WiFi and air conditioning. The air conditioning is not noisy. But please note that if you are a girl staying here, it is not recommended to walk to the pier because there are many Bajau people and locals along the way. Some children will ask you for money, so I think it is a bit dangerous. If you take a taxi from the hotel to the exit of the pier, it will cost about 7 Malaysian ringgits. I joined four groups this time. 1. Sipadan Diving (2 dives in Sipadan and 1 dive in Mabul) Price: 2000 RMB (AOW or above required, 120 places per day) 2. Snorkeling at Pearl Island Ocean Park Price: RM210-230 (You need to wear sports shoes and hike for about 40 minutes to 700 meters high) 3. Mabul Island Diving (3 dives) Price: RM350 4. If you want to stay in a comfortable hotel, you can try TD Mutiara hotel. The price is affordable too and the service is good ! :) Apart from that, it has an ample parking space for its customers so you don't need to worry about the safety of your car.
