Walking towards the Acropolis on the hill, you will pass by ancient ruins all the way. Today's Acropolis, although incomplete, still has three temples with their frameworks relatively intact: the Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Erechtheion. The rest are just the remains of their foundations. At the easternmost part of the Acropolis, there is an observatory where you can overlook the entire city of Athens.
