Beppu Onsen Sky Bathhouse - Seikaiso, is a traditional Japanese hot spring hotel located on the Kitahama coastline, in the first row of sea views, facing Beppu Bay, with the most beautiful sunset on the sea. It is extremely comfortable to soak in the open-air bath in the room while watching the sunset. Seikaiso has a good transportation location. It is only a 10-minute walk from Beppu JR Station and only 3 minutes from Kitahama Bus Station. Beppu Tower and youme Town Beppu large shopping mall are next to it, making shopping very convenient. Although the hotel is old, it has good service and a great location. The view of the Tenku-no-yu on the rooftop is first-class, and the hot spring Japanese food with two meals per night is delicious and cost-effective. It can be seen that the hotel is very well managed. Convenient location, friendly staff, beautiful environment! The hotel itself is not very new and has a bit of an old feel. But the family bath on the top floor is very comfortable and has 200% privacy! A hotel with a very high CP value! Will use it again if I have the chance! Reservations are required for family baths. 45 minutes each time. The bath has a private toilet and an area for washing, changing clothes and blow-drying hair. You can take a dip once after checking in and before dinner, and again in the morning. The room I stayed in faced the sea and faced due east, and the bath was also facing due east, so don’t be too concerned about how much you pay when making a reservation 😂, and be sure to choose a room with a sea view. I had planned to take a time-lapse of the sunrise while taking a bath in the morning, but it started to get cloudy early in the morning... I'll try again next time😡 Also, there is a large rest area outside the family bath where smoking is allowed and you can see Beppu Tower, which is great for card playing. I don’t know if other hotels have this advantage... but I think compared to the prices of nearby hotels, Seikaisou’s CP value is really off the charts!
