There are also many shopping facilities such as souvenir shops, clothing stores, and department stores. The streets are designed as arcades, so you can enjoy shopping and exploring delicious food even when it rains without worrying about getting wet. There are also many hotels here that can be used as a sightseeing base. In addition, there are many izakayas and bars, especially on weekend nights, when people drinking and having fun make the whole street very lively.

The room will not be super fine. The most important selling point is that Most of them have bathing places, so you can take a bath in the bathing place when you come back at night. It is very comfortable and people will be smaller at night. The Japanese are very small and after 11:00 pm, it feels like the whole place is reserved. Selling point 2: The hotel provides free ramen in the restaurant at night. If it is too late and you can't eat, the staff will give you a cup of noodles. The hotel is located in the planetarium and close to the shopping street, which is very convenient. There is an airport bus that goes directly to the planetarium. JR Kagoshima Chuo Station is a 15-minute walk away and a 5-minute train ride away. The transportation is very convenient. The pier to Sakurajima is just a 20-minute walk away. A chain business hotel, not expensive, but with late night snacks and bathing facilities. The evening will not be boring.

Additionally, it’s surrounded by numerous shopping malls. For food lovers, you’ll find everything from the famous Kurobuta pork, yakiniku barbecue, tonkatsu, to ramen—all in one place. We arrived in Kagoshima late in the evening and, naturally, went hunting for a place to try the city’s famed pork. Kurokatsutei in Tenmonkan was our pick for dinner — and it absolutely hit the spot. Despite the hour, we were seated pretty quickly. The place had a relaxed, homely feel, perfect for winding down after a long day. We went straight for the signature tonkatsu — and it didn’t disappoint. The pork cutlet was fried to crispy perfection with a light breadcrumb coating, while the meat inside was juicy and full of flavor. The tangy tonkatsu sauce paired so well with the richness of the pork — it really lifted the whole dish. We also ordered the grilled meat skewers, and those were a pleasant surprise. Charred just right and seasoned to bring out the natural sweetness of the pork, they added a nice contrast to the fried dishes. Short Kagoshima trip! A very quiet and peaceful city trip! If you want to enjoy a leisurely trip, I highly recommend Kagoshima🤭 It's a small town, so it's not a place to stay long! It's a place where you can stop by for a day and enjoy it before moving! Kagoshima Chuo Station and Tenmonkan are the center, so it would be convenient to book a place to stay and travel in one of the two places👍👍 They only offer takeout for shaved ice. It's so sweet and delicious! They had a big event at the Sakurajima Island pier, so they sold a lot of food and items, so it was great to look around. I wanted to go to a bigger place than the Aeon Mall at Chuo Station, so I took the train and went there. The sushi and lunch boxes were much more diverse and good! It's fun to visit once! There's a bakery inside the mart, and the salt bread is really, really delicious👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 The price is cheap, and the other breads are also really delicious. I really liked it because it's different from the bakery at the Aeon Mall at Chuo Station😍😍😍

I went on a day trip to Kagoshima where I could experience cherry blossoms, the sea, and local flavors🌸 Even if I didn't have much time, there were plenty of moments where I could feel the local flavor🫧 The first place I stopped at was the traditional sweet shop "Hirataya". The specialty, Jambo Mochi, has a perfect combination of sweet and salty sauce and a fragrant grilled finish, and every bite relaxes my mind. In the quiet shop, I sat by the window and Sakurajima was right in front of me. It was a luxurious time with mochi, tea, and a magnificent view. After that, I took a ferry and looked at Sakurajima from the sea. The sea breeze made me feel like I was on a trip, and even the ordinary scenery felt precious. Finally, I did a little shopping in the arcade street. As I walked along the road lined with cherry blossoms, I naturally thought, "Ah...
