This is truly neither in Chiang Mai nor beside the Erhai Lake in Dali
Shangguan flowers, Xiaguan wind, Cangshan snow, Erhai moon, the poetic and romantic Dali is a place you can visit a hundred times without getting tired💦 After seeing Dali in spring, I've been unable to forget it, and here I am again in June✈️
.
This time, due to limited time, I didn't go to the crowded Haidong Shuanglang or the ethnically charming Xizhou Ancient Town, but instead found my poetic retreat on the less crowded, scenic west coast of Erhai Lake👏
.
Here, you can enjoy the endlessly enchanting sunrise at Longkan Wharf🌅 The sun rises slowly at the end of Erhai Lake, resembling a dazzling pearl, and there are water channel ruins bearing the marks of time, with large trees by the corridor bridge exuding a unique sense of solitude🌲
.
I stayed at the Bellavita Aroma Healing Seaview Hotel in Xia Bo Ping Village on Huanhai West Road🏨 Facing Erhai Lake and backed by Cangshan Mountain, it also has a quiet courtyard full of blooming flowers, which is simply my ideal life~
.
Stepping into Bellavita, I was amazed by its fresh and natural forest garden🍃 The vast 'green' instantly transports you into a tropical rainforest, and there's a special treehouse cafe where they make fresh desserts, cakes, and drinks every day🍸 Having afternoon tea in the garden and sitting there for an afternoon is extremely pleasant~
.
The room I booked was a sea-view double room, where you can see Erhai Lake just by lying on the bed. Facing this gentle scenery, the fatigue of the journey dissipates instantly🍃
.
When hungry, go to the restaurant for an authentic Yunnan Bai ethnic meal, especially the grilled pork belly🍗, which is really fragrant. Even my three-year-old daughter ate half a pot! Highly recommended!
.
Looking at the tranquil and towering Cangshan Mountain, tasting a portion of healthy food, taking a nap in the sunny afternoon, reading a book, watching flowers, feeling the breeze, and enjoying the wonderful time in Dali, it's incredibly comfortable❗️
