The ground floor seems to be a bar where locals enjoy their drinks, and inside is a Thai restaurant. It’s said that their family recipes have been passed down through many generations. The freshness of the ingredients and the unique flavors have attracted countless people to visit, making it a popular spot in the area. The restaurant’s interior is quite charming, with various green plants hanging from the ceiling and many red and yellow flowers in the small hallway at the entrance. The arrangement of the flowers isn’t overwhelming but instead enhances the restaurant’s elegant atmosphere, giving diners a unique dining experience. Massaman Curry This special curry is made with beef and a yellow curry base. It has a sweet taste that pairs perfectly with rice. Green Curry Although it’s rated with two stars for spice, it’s not overwhelmingly hot and is quite comfortable to eat. It contains shrimp, bamboo shoots, and green peppers, offering a refreshing flavor. Pad Siew This dish with shrimp is similar to stir-fried noodles but isn’t spicy at all. The Churchill arms in Kensington is renowned for its hanging baskets and colorful flowers. The decorations change with the season change. At Christmas they display changes to Christmas trees, but my favorite decorations in The Churchill arms in Kensington is the hanging flowers during spring and summer. 💐🌸 I had a drink when I visited the pub but apparently the Thai food they serve is very good. I would recommend to go even if it’s only to see the decoration of the outside. 🪷🪷
