[Nagasaki Prefecture] The historic Nagasaki Confucius Temple and Museum
Nagasaki Confucius Temple and Museum of Chinese History is a historic building built in 1893. It is the only authentic Chinese-style mausoleum in Japan, with attention to detail in every part of the building, just like the main temple in Qufu, Shandong Province, China. Nagasaki Confucius Temple has a long history dating back to the Edo period in 1647. A face-changing show is held on certain days.
Visiting period: July 2024
