Should I tell you about my trip to Nepal?
🌍 I keep turning the pages of the world, and a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step! Do I have to travel with someone? No, traveling alone is very free and easy, and I can travel the world with my suitcase!
🛕 Kathmandu, the "Land of the Gods", is an ancient city at the foot of the Himalayas, full of mystery and charm. When I stepped into Bhaktapur Durbar Square, I felt as if I was drawn back in time to a hundred years ago. I was wearing a local sari, and the light fabric swayed gently in the breeze, perfectly blending with the rhythm of the ancient city.
🛕 Standing in the square, I was surrounded by towering temples, with red tiles and golden roofs shining in the sun. The temples are dedicated to various gods, and the prayer flags flutter in the wind, making a rustling sound, as if blessing this land.
🕌 Kathmandu, the rich cultural atmosphere here is so overwhelming. Every detail reveals the weight of history and the depth of culture. I felt as if I could feel every soul on this land resonating with me, and my soul wandered peacefully and ethereally between heaven and earth.
👀 I closed my eyes and took a deep breath of the air of this land. I felt as if I had merged into a medieval painting full of faith, breathing and feeling with this ancient city, this land, and its people.
⚠️ Notes:
1. Kathmandu is very dusty, so it is recommended to wear a 😷;
2. The roads, traffic, pedestrians, and wires are all chaotic, so for safe travel, it is recommended to reduce the use of motorcycles 🏍️. There are many public transport vehicles and routes, and the prices are cheap, but most of the vehicles are old. Also, the roofs of buses are full of people, just like in India.
3. If you stay in Thamel, you can take a taxi to any place at any time, but remember to bargain in advance!
4. Remember to drink bottled water 🧃, as tap water is very dirty!
5. You cannot take pictures of the goddess in the Temple of the Living Goddess, and you must keep quiet.
6. You can overlook the entire city of Kathmandu from the Monkey Temple, which is worth visiting!
7. You can buy a SIM card in Nepal, and the internet is more stable than in any other place in Nepal!
8. The southern slope of the Himalayas has the world's most famous hiking and climbing routes, which are very mature, and there are inns and camps in the mountains.
9. Kathmandu is a chaotic city. When I was walking alone on the street, I was actually scared, so I didn't stay long and moved to the next place the next day!
✈️: There are three main airlines in Nepal: Buddha Air, Yeti Air, and Simrik Air;
💰 Exchange: There are many places to exchange money on Thamel Street, so there is no need to exchange money at the airport (not cost-effective);
