🌟Highlights:
1. Qixingyan Peach Blossom Island has more than 530 peach trees and over 20 pear trees, with the best viewing time from January to March each year.
2. "Reclining Buddha Containing Cinnabar" is a unique astronomical spectacle of Qixingyan. Standing on the Fairy Lake Viewing Buddha Platform and looking into the distance, the "Reclining Buddha" lies peacefully on the Star Lake with its feet to the south and head to the north. The silhouette of the eyes, ears, mouth, nose, chin, snail bun, shoulders, chest, hands, feet, and toes are all clearly visible, and the proportions of the body are very symmetrical and lifelike, which is amazing.
Every mid-October, around 6 pm on a clear evening, you can see the sunset slowly falling, seemingly embedded in the mouth of the Reclining Buddha, thus forming the strange astronomical spectacle of "Reclining Buddha Containing Cinnabar" in Star Lake.
3. Standing on the Wulong Pavilion opposite the Shuiyue Causeway and looking up at the Shishiyan, the overhanging cliffs are high into the clouds, overlooking the lake surface, which is as smooth as a mirror. The mountain rocks enter the water, creating a pleasant scenery. If you are there on a night when the jade rabbit is high in the sky, you can also appreciate the integrated charm of water, moon, rock, and cloud, both earthly and heavenly. There is a poem that says: "After returning from the Five Sacred Mountains, you won't look at the mountains, and you should have not yet been to Qixingyan. I urge you to go and look for it, for there is more Penglai in the world...
4. In the spring light of March, the royal pink Bauhinia trees bloom in anger, with flowers hanging all over the branches. Coupled with the light rain, the scenery is even more enchanting. You see the mountains reflected in the water, the water winding around the mountains, and the mist is ethereal.
5. Yuping Rock is connected to Langfeng Rock, with the south slope wall standing like a screen, facing the lake and the sun, with a gentle atmosphere and no harsh wind. The green trees are dense all year round, and the white egg flowers and sword flowers in summer and autumn cover the mountains and trees, fragrant and rich.
6. The Qixingyan rock carvings group is one of the world-renowned cultural relics.
During the Tang Dynasty, the famous writer and calligrapher Li Yong left the nationally famous "Duanzhou Shishi Record" at the entrance of the Shishi Cave.
After that, Tang Dynasty's Li Shen, Song Dynasty's Bao Zheng, Zhou Dunyi, Guo Xiangzheng, Huang Gongdu, Ming Dynasty's Yu Dayou, Wu Guolun, Guo Duxian, Chen Lin, Qing Dynasty's Li Jian, Feng Minchang, and others left a large number of poems or inscriptions inside and outside the cave. There are more than 630 pieces of Qixingyan rock carvings, with 333 in and around Shishiyan alone. The carvings include all kinds of fonts, such as seal, official, regular, running, and cursive scripts, and include works from various dynasties since the Tang Dynasty, from all over China and even Japan; and these carvings are relatively concentrated and intact. Among them, Li Yong's "Duanzhou Shishi Record", Feng Minchang's "Five Poems of Qixingyan", and Li Jian's "Nanfu Meteorite" are known as the three masterpieces of Qixingyan stone carving poetry.
