Each day, we were presented with a surprise three-course menu prepared by the talented chef👩🍳🧑🍳. With each dish, we had no idea what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed them💕. Day 1 To start, we were served some mouthwatering snacks, including flax seed sesame thins accompanied by a refreshing mango onion salad. One of our absolute favorites was the cauliflower skewers, coated in a delectable sweet buffalo-like sauce and served with a creamy mayo dip. They were incredibly delicious! We also savored a perfectly seasoned lentil soup and indulged in a garlic mushroom cream pasta with garlic bread. It was truly a feast for the senses. Day 2 We were served some hot crispy thick fries, fresh pomelo salad—which is my favorite, so refreshing with plump pieces of juicy pomelo😋 Then we had an Olive Oil and Garlic and herbs pasta with garlic bread. To our delight, each dish was served only after we had finished the previous one, and the chef personally attended to us😊. The attentive servers ensured our water glasses were always full and promptly cleared away empty plates. The ambiance of Alive is rustic and spacious, with high ceilings and charming dangling lights. It was actually nice getting to walk around and seeing the sun almost setting too, they have a lot of farm land here for crops, we got to see some of their farmers work around. As we got to the Spa reception, They had a therapist assigned to us,she guided and brought us to the Acqua Hydrotherapy Sanctuary spa to have our Aqua Pressure Pools treatment 💦 She explained that these were water pressure pools designed to massage different parts of our body such as the head, neck, upper and lower back and finally one where we lie down for whole body relaxation. We loved the high pressure water pool because it could massage our whole back and legs as moved and aimed at those parts, it felt good and relaxing afterwards👍 In the spa were also sauna cubicles, massage beds, steam rooms and other aqua pools that are available with other treatments. As we entered we already heard so many different sounds of animals, so we were really at THE FARM😂😁 Upon check-in, we were given refreshing beverages. We were also given information about The Farm and a detailed timetable of the classes or activities we can partake in. We were also told about restaurants and about how we could just make requests on their exclusive app for any needs. The vibes here are really tropical, there’s a lake, palm trees and of course nature! So we got to our Garden Villa, dropped by the staff in the buggy. And what a massive space we had spanning over 80sq.meters, and boasting an outdoor area surrounded by the beauty of nature, trees, flowers, bugs and all😂😁 Additionally, it offers a private lanai, along with comfortable lounge chairs and a table, perfect for indulging in a delicious meal while fully laying ourselves out for mosquitoes to feast on😂 So while we love the nature vibes we did not stay out long enough to get eaten alive…the whole villa though is equipped with screen doors so at least we could let in some air without the nuisance of mosquitoes😜 We loved the Inside of the Garden Villa as we had this really comfortable King Size bed,it was also surrounded by a mosquito net😅 The staff had also prepared a birthday greeting for my brother on the bed with flowers and balloon. So this villa had a charming rustic feel with the wooden furnishings, ceiling fan, rattan objects, dim lights. One of the highlights was definitely the open-air bathroom that had the overhead shower complete with their natural herbal oil, shampoo and conditioner plus of course that huge tub where you can just have a relaxing bath.
