#familytrips2024 You definitely must try one of the best bagels and cinnamon rolls here at the founders cafe, which is located at the ground floor of Southkey Shopping mall in Malaysia. This newly opened shop has a variety of bagels, from savoury to sweet ones, such as blueberry bagel, cranberry walnut, parmesan herb bagel and more. Cinnamon rolls are nicely decorated with lots of cream cheese and chocolate drizzle, as well as peacan nuts. Just yummy! Both bagels and cinnamon rolls are huge. Order their bagels and you can grab some amazing cream cheese spread to go along with it. Some spreads that I would recommend are berry berry, green onion and brown onion paradise. Do try it today!

Just the interior alone is enough to WOW you - the huge space, high ceilings, cosy decor and aplenty of dining spaces. But that is not all, as The Founders Cafe also serves up delectable dishes that are bursting with flavours and the best part - with also great plating that makes both the interior and food insta-worthy! I’ve been to a few cafes in JB but I would have to say that this is one that has been drawing me back as it is a great place for hearty brunches with family, friends or even just to pop by for a coffee and dessert with your other half. Located at an industrial area near Mount Austin in Johor Bahru, the FOUNDERS cafe boasts good food and an interesting industrial themed cafe with knocked down wars and high ceilings. The food was surprisingly good and affordable as ever. Parking is easy to find and the cafe was relatively uncrowded. #johorbahrutrip The bagel here was super good, toasted perfectly and the cream cheese suits the bagel very well. The smoked salmon's portion here was big but it isn't that high quality. The scramble egg here wasn't that fluffy and soft too. The big breakfast here was full with many dishes but the mushroom wasn't flavourful enough. Love the vibe here. Ambience wise is spectacular

Really good place for coffee and they have amazing latte art! Always appreciate the option to select beans too. Their specialty drinks were really good too and they would explain to you upon serving. The food is fine, but they do charge a premium. You barely get food for less than RM25 and in my standards, I can lap up the dishes here within five bites. In Johor Bahru Malaysia, I am glad to have found a bagel and cinnamon roll specialty shop called The Founders Bakery. This bakery is opened by the well known Founders cafe, which is popular for their brunch and coffee. Here at the founders bakery, you will find a great assortment of bagels such as permesan and herbs, blueberry bagel, cheese and turkey ham bagel, etc. Besides choosing your bagels, you can also grab their special cream cheese spread made in house that goes well with their bagels. Soft and slightly chewy is what their bagels are like. Yums! Their cinnamon rolls look a little too dry and sweet for my liking though. Otherwise, it is still a great bakery with special delicious bagels!

#johorjaya Situated in the industrial area and during my visit still have empty parking lot for early lunch however it will be packed during lunch even during weekdays. Coming back for their tomyam quesadillas and also recommended to try their chicken cashew nut pesto pasta, sweet potato fries and their pastries. Maybe it is because early lunch so the food option is not a lot compare to dinner (wanna try their pizza). They also sell cute plates and glassware. Definitely would come back again to try their bagel Food price is suitable for the taste of the food that they offered and crew also very nice and accomodating.

#favouritecafe The founder's cafe is one of my favourite cafe in Johor Bahru, Malaysia because not only is the food delicious, the cafe ambience is pretty too. The interior is decorated with floral and fauna with some pop art style posters. For food, I recommend the signature quesadilla and the beef bagel which are huge in portions! I also love the cinnamon roll which was surprisingly not too sweet. For drinks, the mocha and red poisson cocktail are good! Kampong Eggs Anyway which consisted of two Sunny Side Up (RM12.50), Bagel with Green Onion Cream Cheese (RM4.90) and Streaky Beef Bacon (RM5) - RM22.40 2. 150g Aussie Beef Bagel which costs RM38.90. The total cost of my meal is RM71.10. Despite a bigger space, this place still gets filled easily due to its strong following and popularity. Therefore, I recommend arriving early for your breakfast here. The FOUNDERS Cafe certainly deserves to be included in your checklist of recommended cafés to visit in Johor Bahru.

#2024wish This newly opened cafe in Penang has been gaining a lot of attention and of course we had to check it out! Due to its popularity, there is always a long queue and the crowd was huge ! We had to wait for 30++mins before we got a table but they have a neat system while waiting. They also have a waiting area and free drinks while you wait and you will receive a text from them you once the table is available , so you can actually walk around while waiting without anybody "cutting lines" Indeed more than just a cafe! Love the ambience, love the food, just perfect!
