#chinatrip We took about 27mins of train to travel from slightly out of city towards city center just to arrive to this place. Surprisingly, there was not many people around and probably people are mostly inside the big shopping mall around this building. We notice those that visited this place are mostly kneel down and pointing their camera upwards just to capture this beauty all in one picture. I would say it is worth it though looks weird for kneeling down around the street. Psst! If you wish to see this building from a far, I would suggest you to go to Picturesque just about 15-20mins train away from this place!

We were supposed to come here for sunset view, unfortunately we missed the golden time 🥲 However, we continue to stay here for the skyline from bright turn into dark, another level of enjoyment! There were not many people around this area probably there are other viewing point. Personally recommend to this place to view the 3 musketeer from afar 😆

The building has gained its name because of its unique and special structure as a huge door that allows the tourists to take instagrammable pictures. A Cantonese restaurant on the 6th floor of the South Tower of the Gate of the Orient, a landmark in Suzhou. The view was amazing, and I could see Jinji Lake and the IFS on the opposite bank. You can also see the fountain show on Jinji Lake at night. Most of the seats have a lake view, which is nice. The view was great, and the food was delicious, so I was very satisfied! Everything was delicious! Showing Y’all some more aight from this amazing location. this spot is situated right in front of the gate of orient and stretches along the west side of the jinji lake. Twin towers 👬 can be seen in many cities. Suzhou's conjoined 🪢 twin towers break the traditional design and become like big pants 👖, which is more attractive in appearance. Right in front of the Gate of the Orient building is this really big park which nearly wraps around the entire west side of the Jinji lake. it is this water front park where you see so many people and locals and tourists, coming to enjoy the beautiful sights. From this location you can get a clear view of the other side of the lake which is where the Times Square area is and the tallest building in Suzhou, the IFS tower is. Today was a really foggy day at the Gate of the Orient. the clouds covered the sun ⛅️ and it was a bit dark. but nevertheless it was still such a beautiful sight. If you come to the landmark Suzhou Gate, you'll want to take some photos. It's in the center of Suzhou. We arrived at 9pm, so we missed the musical fountain. The best photo spots are by Jinji Lake, where there are fewer people and steps, so your photographer won't have to lie on the ground. After exiting Suzhou Center subway station, walk forward, cross a small bridge, and go down the stairs to the tunnel. When you come out, you'll see it. If you're not good at taking photos, there are photographers nearby who charge ¥20 per photo, and the results are pretty good. I didn't get any taken because I was dressed casually, but I'll dress up next time.📷 When night falls, the lights on Jinji Lake Bridge turn on, and a colorful digital waterfall flows down from the bridge, displaying different patterns and words. It's a must-see night view of Jinji Lake. Transportation Guide Subway: Take Subway Line 1 to the Culture and Expo Center, Times Square, and other locations around Jinji Lake.
