#penangtrip I saw many tourists turning back after seeing the ticket prices which is like RM 40. I think it’s well worth the price if you’re a nature lover. Not many animals as they say to observe but the walk in the wilderness is absolutely relaxing and the crest is just amazing. You can see langkawi from the top at certain times. Only thing is half the places are closed. So it’s on your pathway but you just can’t go there.

#malaysia This place is a true GEM! We stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Penang with our little son and loved it! The services and room were impeccable, and we enjoyed our family time under the sun. The swimming pool here is huge and has many play features for the young ones. Endless play options here for the kids, there's also a kids' club that allows parents to drop off their children should they need a breather at the spa. The beach is right next to the hotel so do pop by the beach if you intent to do any water sports. The room is spacious and extremely comfortable. Exploring penang is easy! We took taxi to Penang Hill and a short hike in the nature and enjoyed the aerated views of Penang. Food is everywhere! The Habitat Penang Hill is a world class rainforest located in metropolis city Penang. This is one of the main attractions which can be accessed from Ayer Itam using the historic funicular railway. The area of The Habitat is not too big, not much visitor as well during long weekend. Nice greenery away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Penang Hill. Recommended to visit at least once. Cheaper ticket can be found online or pay attention to their social media for occasional promotion. 👀 The entire area is quite pleasant to walk and won't be too tiring except for the Curtis crest, which you need to climb a few flights of stairs to get to the top. Canopy walk would be very nice for kids and the elderly. 🌸 Excellent place for kids to explore the nature. They have professional service by enthusiasm staff. Last year was my first visit to The Habitat and I had a great time then. Therefore it was one of the first destination on my list when I planned for this trip to Penang again. I was so eager to go thru the great experience I had during the previous visit but I was up for a surprise as it got even better this time round! The highlight of this trip must go to the new addition at the place, THE ZIP LINES!! Its called The Flight Of The Colugo. It’s exciting yet fit for the entire family for all ages. This is my first zip line experience and I am glad to have gotten the courage to earn the wonderful experience. The mountain climate is cool and pleasant. It is a cool summer resort. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can see the whole island and the view is very wide. It takes 10 minutes to change to the Habitat from the cable car to the Mid-Levels. This is another attraction in the Penang Hill, the very primitive forest of the The Habitat, and hundreds of millions of years of granite stone, there will be wild monkeys popping out to climb trees, wild crows, or go to the mountains to see All kinds of exotic flowers and grasses, there are giant circular walking passages, which can run around arbitrarily, very stable. Although the walking time is long, you can use this time to look at the scenery and breathe the fresh air of nature. It is better to have a direct drinking water system. This is easily an hour attraction if you take your time to enjoy and experience the flora and fauna of Penang Hill. The Curtis Crest structure is easily worth the price with the views. Not for the faint hearted as the structure may move slightly due to strong winds. Highly recommended to go alone or with your family. Reached abt 830am on weekday, no Q for Funicular to reach the Penang hill. Buy habitat tickets either on trip.com (same day or advance) or Klook (a day ahead). Enjoy the cloudy skies and fresh air. Didn’t manage to catch a glimpse of any birds/langur monkeys though. Getting down was a breeze as the group tours have started to arrive. We spent two amazing days in George Town, exploring its vibrant streets, rich history, and stunning nature. Here’s what we did and some tips if you’re planning a visit! Day 1: Culture & History • Street Art Tour – We started by walking through George Town’s famous street art scene. The murals were impressive, and finding them felt like a fun scavenger hunt! Penang Hill is extremely steep and fun. The round-trip ticket costs about NT$150 or so. You can see the scenery of trees and grass. All the way to the top, you can see the coastal city area. There is also a park on top where you can walk around. The ticket price is about NT$400. Personally, I think if you have the time and mentality to do so, you can go and see it, but if you want to discuss whether it is worth it, I think it is okay because the cost-effectiveness is not high. It may be that Taiwan's park planning and natural environment are too strong. This time, we went to Penang Hill and Kek Lok Si Temple. These two attractions are next to each other. We walked from Penang Hill to Kek Lok Si Temple. Although it's not far, it was hot and tiring. We recommend taking a taxi. 🎟️Tickets: Penang Hill tickets cost MYR 30 per person. Penang Hill Forest Park tickets cost MYR 60 per person. Kek Lok Si Temple is free, but there's a MYR 2 fee to enter the pagoda. 💗Other tips: It is recommended to visit Penang Hill in the morning, as it's cooler and less crowded. The funicular train takes about ten minutes to reach the top of the hill, and it's a twenty-minute walk to the forest park. The forest park has a sky bridge, where you can see squirrels and monkeys. Construction of Kek Lok Si Temple began during the Qing Dynasty, and it has undergone several expansions to reach its current size. The main hall inside is resplendent. Penang Hill is definitely worth a visit! just look at the view from the pictures! Climb up the circular sky platform to get an even better view of Penang city and the seas/nature beyond. You will definitely get your adrenaline pumping from the sheer height of it. There are also food options and hang out areas scattered around the hill so you can chill out with friends and families and fill up your bellies while you're at it!
