This hotel belongs to the Sinwa Hotel Group, as "Hong Kong's most hidden and private boutique hotel" to render its positioning, is the luxury fine boutique hotel route, so the whole hotel only 32 rooms and suites, room types divided into deluxe rooms, standard suites and deluxe suites. It’s rare for the hotel to win at least one international award every year since it opened in 2016 until last year.
The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from Olympic Station, not difficult to find, from the first phase of Ocean City as soon as you can see the hotel name in large letters on the outside of the building, so it is not very private.
Once you enter the hotel door, the first presented in front of you is a gorgeous lobby, followed by an automatic elevator to see the check in front table, 14:00 quickly finished check in procedures, staff personally took us to the room door, this hotel features all rooms, lounge and gym all on the same floor.
The main entrance of the room is quite grand, and when we entered the room, we knew that the hotel had upgraded us to stay in a 646-foot standard suite, which was an unexpected surprise! Once you enter the room, the first feeling is that there is a great sense of space, all because there is a very high ceiling, the room decoration is luxurious and elegant, the bathroom is very beautiful, the bathtub is big enough. There is a promenade-shaped terrace outside the bedroom, because it is connected to the other rooms, unlike the Fuwei 1881 Mansion with separate partitions for each room to use independently, so the terrace door is locked and cannot be opened. Outside is the West Kowloon ICC view, because there are many trees covering it, so you can only see a little view of Hong Kong Island Central. However, the design disadvantage of this suite is that if you sit in the living room you can't see the outside view at all, the advantage is that you can watch two large 55-inch TVs at the same time while sleeping on the bed or sitting on the living room sofa.
This hotel has no swimming pool, no restaurant, only one lounge described by the hotel’s official website as comparable to the top first class lounge, so be sure to check it out. At three o'clock to the lounge there was not a single customer, the lounge is really quite beautiful, although there is no view, but the decoration and furnishings make people feel very comfortable, most notably there are four single seats that imitate the business class seats of an airliner. Snacks such as coffee, tea, soft drinks, juices, brine chicken wings, chips, cookies, pastries, cheese and fruit are available in the lounge.
Because I ate a lot of things in the lounge for afternoon tea, I didn't have much appetite for dinner, so I walked over to Ocean City "Ippudo" and bought two Benzangs back to my room to eat.
Because the hotel does not have a restaurant, so breakfast is in the lounge, time is 7:00 to 11:00, to know that our room price includes free use of the lounge, but does not include breakfast, to charge $ 180 + 10% per person, look at the food plus less than 10 choices, give up, downstairs lobby has a "name garden" Cantonese restaurant for breakfast tea.
If you have requirements for hotel dining you can not choose this, because the lounge food options are too small, expect to go out and find something else, but in terms of hotel room quality, thousands of dollars to stay a night personally is affordable. — At the Yukai Hotel
