[2025 Hong Kong Attraction] Travel Guide for The Peak (Updated May)

I stayed at the Rainbow Hotel this time! The transportation is incredibly convenient because Jordan Station is right outside. It's also just a 3-5 minute walk to the airport bus that goes directly to the airport. There's a 7-11 right downstairs from the hotel. The hotel is very clean, and the bathroom is great. You can watch YouTube and Netflix, and the room is incredibly spacious and super clean. Hong Kong is really beautiful... The Peak Tram 🚠 is a must-visit. I'll say it again, a must-visit. You can skip the wax museum, but you absolutely have to visit the platform at the top for sightseeing and photos. Next is the Star Ferry. It's amazing to ride at night. It's comfortable and beautiful, with a great atmosphere. Temple Street in Jordan Shop till you drop. There are so many treasures, including food and lots of vintage Hong Kong-style items. The hand-shaken lemon tea is super delicious. You must try the beef brisket noodles and Lan Fong Yuen. Green Forest Dessert Shop is a must-visit. The owner of Green Forest Dessert Shop is super nice and very friendly to Taiwanese people. And she's very beautiful~ As for Ocean Park Hong Kong, it's the best amusement park in my opinion. I decisively gave up on Disneyland because I'm not really interested in it. If you really want to enjoy an amusement park and see cute animals, go to Ocean Park. You'll be happy all day! Before going to Hong Kong, I was very reluctant about the place. I thought there wouldn't be much fun since they all speak Chinese. I was wrong. Hong Kong has its own beauty. I spent five days there and enjoyed every single day. So, you can refer to my experience and have a great time. Oh, by the way, Lan Kwai Fong is a bit scary. There are many shopkeepers trying to pull you in, and they're mostly black people. But they're very friendly. It's just hard to refuse them, so if you really want to drink, take your time. If you just want to look around, pass through quickly and don't let them get too close! Alright, after these five days, my feet are sore, but I feel very relaxed. The security is pretty good too. I think the transportation is very convenient. Highly recommended.

Going to the Peak Take Green top Minibus Route 1 from the IFC (the station is beneath the overpass next to CitySuper) or the double decker Bus Route 15 from the Central Pier No. 5 and get off at the final stop at the Peak Galleria. Best Spot to View Hong Kong's Skyline — The Lion Pavilion (Ming Yan Ting Pavilion) There are a few spots to view Hong Kong’s famous skyline at the Peak. My advice to visitors is to never pay for this view at the Sky Terrace 428 on top of the Peak Tower. The Lion Pavilion presents equally good views. Another spot is to view at a deck at the Peak Galleria, which is also free for visitors. From the Peak Tram terminus, find your way to Findlay Road toward the east. Walk for just two minutes and look out for the entrance to the Lion Pavilion on your left. Heritage Dining at the Peak Lookout If you want a proper dining experience at a heritage site at the Peak, the Peak Lookout is for you. As a dining establishment, the Peak Lookout serves international cuisine and the food is of high quality. I particularly enjoy its Indian cuisine. Its naan is heavenly with curry. Formerly Old Peak Café, the Peak Lookout was built in 1888 as a place of rest for the engineers and workers that built the Peak Tram. In 1901, it became the chair shelter and rest stop for carriers of sedan chairs. By 1947, the idea of a dining establishment emerged with the setting up of light refreshments on this site. The Peak One of the must visit places in Central would be The Peak. Visitors can choose to take the tram, bus or hike up to the peak. The view was simply breathtaking and stunning, 10/10 recommending this! 2. Pottinger Street Popular spot for photo shoots and movie scenes with its unevenly paved stairs. Lots of kiosks and quaint cafes at this area. 3. Fringe Club Very cute place for photoshoot 4.
