Honestly one of the best weeks I've had in a long time. From the second we walked into the reception of the hotel, we knew it was special. The welcoming staff, the open spaces, the shuttle rides around the resort, the restaurants, and of course, the villas were all exceptional. After a stressful year, this was the week we needed to feel peace and to refresh our minds. The beach is exclusive, the ambiance relaxing, the infinity pool is stunning, the breakfasts are delicious, and the sunsets leaves you speechless. It's been almost a month since we checked in, and I've thought about the Royal Sands every day since. We will be back.

The beach stretches out before you, with sand as fine as powder. Walking barefoot on it is incredibly soft and comfortable. As far as the eye can see, there's nothing but the endless azure sea, with waves gently lapping against the shore, their sound as soothing as a lullaby. 🛏 The rooms are designed in a warm, seaside style, with warm-toned decor and wooden furniture, creating a perfect vacation ambiance. Each room has a large balcony, perfect for lounging in a chair, enjoying the sea breeze, and sipping a refreshing drink. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities are top-notch, with wonderfully scented toiletries. 🍱 When it comes to dining, this hotel is simply exceptional! There's a restaurant serving authentic Cambodian cuisine, where the aroma of Cambodian barbecue fills the air, with the unique flavors of spices perfectly blended into the meat. The Royal Sands Koh Rong, a 5-star resort and one of the best resort in Koh Rong Island in Cambodia. The clear blue water with exceptional cleanliness and service provided is worth the money. It is like Maldives in Cambodia; it has the best white sand beach and clear blue water you ever find in Cambodia. Best months to visit: Nov - Apr (the driest month) and also the peak season month. For more affordable stay, consider staying during the shoulder month between the rainy and dry season, around End of Oct or early May where there might be a slight chance of rain but the resort usually provides a more affordable discount package (e.g. $290 resident package for Cambodian citizen, which includes round trip shared boat transfer and a choose of 1 set of dinner or lunch for 2). Look out for discounts. Location: Koh Rong island, approximately 30-40 min by speedboat (it's a private speedboat only for the resort's customers). The food: this resort is very private, so besides eating in the resort, hard to find any other place to eat. But the quality of the food is excellent. Activities: there are many activities you can do in the resort for free, like kayaking, volley ball...but you can also pay extra for the snorkeling trip (around $40/person). I highly recommend this resort if you are visiting Cambodia and want to experience the best beach in Cambodia. We went there 3 times already as a family, and still we love to go there again. #familytrip #beach
