Went Jakarta for 3 days for work, first time tried Indonesian food in Indonesia. 🤣 Nice view from Sultan Hotel. On the first day (Tuesday) the traffic from airport to city center was quite bad, luckily on the Thursday itself when we travelled from hotel to airport the traffic was quite smooth. The hotel building is quite old, the socket also need some maintenance. glad that the room is clean. Grab taxi and delivery service in Jakarta is very affordable and convenient compare to Singapore. Went to Roema Rempah for dinner after work, the food, services and coffee were pretty decent. Also tried the local satay in #jakarta , is quite different from those we got in Malayisa and Singapore, pretty nice to taste.

In the morning, you can do jogging or any light sports around this stadium. In the pool area of The Sultan Hotel, they also have a mini cafe name Pizzeria. One thing that amazed me when visiting this hotel was its artsy lobby. The Sultan Hotel & Residence is a hotel with royal Javanese touch in Jakarta. Usually, people come here for business or leisure. The meeting rooms and ballrooms also become many Jakarta people's favorite. There are many artsy things, especially paintings in the lobby of The Sultan Hotel. The Sultan Hotel & Residence is a five-stars hotel located in a strategic area of South Jakarta. Very close to Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium, also just walking distance from the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD). This hotel has a nice lobby. The staffs are also helpful and friendly. Best way to get here is with taxi or online motorbike taxi. If you prefer the public transportation, the closest MRT is Istora Mandiri station. #timetotravel #jakarta
