Personally, this is one of my favourite chained hotel. Regardless which Westin you stay, they always create an impeccable ambience and immaculate services to all the in-house guests, of course, same goes to the Westin Kuala Lumpur. There are few super plus points of the hotel from my perspective: 1️⃣ It is only steps away from some KL famous shopping malls such as Pavillion KL, Lot 10, Farenheit and Sungai Wang. Walking to the world famous KLCC Twin Tower, it is only 20 min by walking from the linked bridge through the Pavillion shopping mall. 2️⃣ You will be amazed with its tranquil environment even it is surrounded by the street with a lot of noises. The hotel rooms are fully soundproofed and you wont be annoyed by those noises even you are chilling by the swimming pool. Yet, it is a scenic resort-like pool with trees around and many sun-loungers are prepared. 3️⃣ Unlike other city hotels, Westin is providing a playzone for their guests. While you are having a fun time and have a drink in the Splash (poolside bar), your child could enjoy their time to play the video game in this playzone that just located besides the pool. A secret playzone at The Westin KL and this is a place within the swimming pool area. You can play with your children here with the pool table, darts and games. This area is also popular with birthday parties and you can see many function rooms are being used for parties especially on weekends. This playzone is free and open to all. There is also a kids club facility If you wish to have someone to look after your children. This hotel is family oriented and kids friendly. There are so many well equipped gyms in hotels operating 24 hours daily and The Westin KL is an awesome gym to work out. Their gym is huge and have many machines and free space for exercises. There are towels and drinks available for guests and the shower room is just nearby. Even if you are not a guest staying here, you also can get daily pass to enter the gym. A clean and safe gym is important and you can also engage a private trainer to guide you through the exercise equipment. Come to level 3 at The Westin KL and be greeted for cocktail and canape from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. You will enjoy an awesome buffet spread with 1 live station and many assortments of food. I enjoy the DIY gado gado and the cut your own salad. There are live green plants at the salad bar and you will use a pair of scissors to cut off the leaves for your salad. You can also approach the bar station to get free flow of wine and cocktails. You can place your drinks order and the bartender will bring it to you. I have arrived at Westin Hotel Kuala Lumpur and as a club room guest, I can proceed directly to level 3 to check in at the club lounge. You can get the staff to help you to access level 3 buttons in the lift. It is a nice environment here and you can skip the check in at the front lobby. For club guests, they lounge is open all day and close at 10pm. So you can always come here to get some drinks and snacks. For afternoon snacks, it is from 12 noon to 4pm. The swimming pool at Westin Hotel Kuala Lumpur is located at level 4 and it is the same floor as the function rooms. There was some birthday party on that day and the kids were playing by the swimming pool. There are 2 pools here and the bigger pool is 1.45 meters deep. So please bring the children to the children pool on the other side. There is no lifeguard but the hotel provide swimming floats which are free to use. A five star hotel. Located strategically in the heart of Bukit Bintang area, the famous shopping district & main tourist spot in KL. Room was spacious, amenities was plenty. Whilst hotel itself is dated, it’s very well maintained with care taken to ensure all equipment is working well.
