The White Tower Park is located by the old Fuxing Road near the Qiantang River. A testimony to the cultural heritage of Hangzhou’s West Lake, it was the starting station of the Hangzhou Railway many years ago, and a terminal of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, which left an enduring cultural legacy. The park is divided into three major areas, which are the White Tower area, the Hang River area, and the Great Bridge area. The White Tower is a pavilion-style octagonal tower, and is the core attraction of the park.
