During a day trip from Da Nang to Hoi An, one of the must-see attractions is the Marble Mountains. This site consists of five limestone peaks, each representing one of the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. Due to the local jade production, it is also known as Marble Mountain. At the entrance of the Marble Mountains, there is a scenic elevator that takes visitors halfway up the mountain. For those who prefer not to climb the stairs, this is a convenient option, and the ticket costs around 20 New Taiwan Dollars. The main peak to visit is Thuy Son (Water Mountain), the largest of the five. It has two observation decks: the East Sea Viewing Pavilion and the West River Viewing Pavilion. As their names suggest, one offers a view of the coastline, while the other overlooks the Han River. The scenery is beautiful, although it was a bit cloudy on the day of our visit. The Marble Mountains are home to many temples and pagodas, such as Tam Thai Pagoda, Linh Ung Pagoda, and Chua Tam Thai. There are also numerous limestone caves with intricately carved statues of Bodhisattvas and Arhats, making it a fascinating place to explore.

You can choose fresh ingredients from the restaurant and have them make a menu for you. #vietnamtrip Ba Na Mountain Resort was incredible. Besides the Golden Bridge, there is an entire top notch French-style resort that is massive and expansive. There's so much to describe; better to look up descriptions online. However, you really should consider spending a full day or even two days examining all the beautiful areas on the mountain. Stay the night at the resort as there's so much to do. Tram rides, mountain slides, incredible Buddha environs, French chateau buildings and hotels, many many good options, amusement park, etc.

Winter season in Da Nang is considered to be a low season. Does it worth coming? I'd say yes! Crowds are not as crazy as in summer and there is still plenty to do. Many activities are even more enjoyable because it is not super hot. Beach is the most important subject of course as many people come here for beach vacations. You still can swim and surf but the water is rough and may not be ideal if you have small kids. Here’s the summary of my 4 days 3 nights Danang itinerary: Day 1: Stroll along Danang city. Visit the pink cathedral, Danang Dragon Bridge and also have some Vietnamese food and coffee! Day 2: A day trip to Hoi An. We took the taxi which was about a 45 minutes ride from Danang city, pretty easy and convenient there’s no need to book ahead. We experienced the coconut basket boat ride which was so much fun. Head over to the ancient town and spent the entire afternoon strolling around and got more coffee! See the lights and lanterns when the night falls. How pretty! Day 3: One day trip to Bana Hills which was inclusive of the Golden Bridge, French Village and Fantasy Park. Pretty cool place, very instagrammable with cool weather. Do bring along jacket if you’re visiting during the ‘winter’ season. Day 4: Stroll along My Khe beach, have breakfast at the hotel and depart to airport.

The café is huge with multiple seating areas, including both indoor and outdoor seatings. Their menu includes a mix of both western and Vietnamese food. We were there for breakfast and there was already a crowd! The food and drinks were served in no time. Both pork banh mi and chicken wrap were delicious and served warm! Love the pairing of flavourful pork and crispy banh mi! We spent around 1-2 hours at the café, hanging around and take photos. Perfect place for a cuppa with plenty of picturesque photo spots!

#vietnamtrip 📍Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, Danang, Vietnam Had a pleasant and lovely stay in Hilton Garden Inn Hotel which is strategically located at the beach front! The hotel is located opposite My Khe Beach, with plenty of eateries nearby at a walkable distance. We were warmly greeted and welcomed by the staffs of the hotel with welcoming iced drink. The hotel is clean, cozy and comfortable, with soft and cozy bed and ambiance.l. We got the room with sea view which was simply great! We had their breakfast buffet on the last of our stay! They offer a wide array of food including both western and vietnamese cuisine like pho, porridge, omelette and more! Overall, such a cozy stay that I would recommend to visitors visiting Danang !

#vietnamtrip 📍Trinh Ca Phe, Danang City, Vietnam Had a coffee break here at Trinh Ca Phe which is located in the heart of Danang city! Lovely place which served the best avocado coffee! The café is cute and cozy, love the wooden tones of the seats and tables. It’s got both indoor (air conditioned) and outdoor seatings. We chose the outdoor seatings as it was more airy and chill, love doing people watching! We ordered their shaken avocado coffee and the normal version. The only difference is that the staff would shake and pour the coffee out of the shaker for the shaken avocado coffee! Both of the coffee were good! Love the harmonious blend of avocado and coffee. The creamy texture of avocado compliments the coffee really well! Need a second cuppa!

#vietnamtrip 📍Madame Lan Restaurant, Danang, Vietnam Decided to visit Madame Lan Restaurant for dinner and this was such a great idea! The restaurant is huge and spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Love the decor of the restaurant, with vibrant and pretty hanging lanterns, very instagrammable and lovely! Specialising in Vietnamese cuisine, they surely do offer a huge selection of local food like Vietnamese pancakes, stir fry dishes, steamed rice cakes topped with minced pork or shrimps and more. We ordered their grilled pork collar, stir fry french beans which were both flavourful and made them a good pairing for rice! Service from the staffs were top tier, very attentive and polite. Love it! Would definitely revisit and recommend this restaurant!

I think Ba Na Hills is a place that all tourists who come to Da Nang will go to at least once. I heard it's called the Disneyland of Vietnam? My goal was to visit the Golden Bridge, a new spot that appeared in 2018! It's called the "Hand of God" because it looks like God is holding a golden thread, and it has gradually become a hot topic on social media around the world as a photogenic spot, so I wanted to go there too. The park is very large, and even though we arrived at 9:30 in the morning and played until after 4:00, we still didn't have enough time. Inside there are various food shops, cafes, and buffets. However, we just ate a quick meal and went around the photo spots. It was large and took a long time to move around, so we didn't have time to eat slowly. Here's something to note! ! ! I think everyone will probably apply for a bus or buy a ticket with a bus transfer. It seems that many people use shared buses because it is expensive to make a private reservation and use a taxi or charter, but if you are late to return, you will be left behind, so I recommend returning to the entrance where the meeting place is early. On the way back, many people will be descending the mountain at the same time, so there will be a long line for the cable car. Furthermore, it will take 15? 20? minutes to go down by cable car. We tried to get back just in time, so we didn't know it would take so long to get on the cable car, and we couldn't get on the bus. We messaged the driver and he waited for 15 minutes, but maybe it was only about 5 minutes? We didn't make it in time. Thanks to that, we called Grab on the way back, but it was expensive. Over 300k.
