Having a Drink with Yonghe Temple Flavor in Beijing
Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing's Shitiao Bar has updated its menu 📖
There are 17 new drinks in total, drawing inspiration from local hutong elements from 📍Caochang Third Alley to Caochang Tenth Alley
Each one has its own personality and flavor, perfect for exploring the menu with girlfriends after work
For me, after drinking, I can walk home from Shitiao without worrying about calling a car
That's the joy of drinking at your home turf!
.
🥃La Dolce Vita
A name with strong street cred, this drink's presentation rivals the previous menu's Mercury
It incorporates on-site smoke infusion, and you can even choose the fragrance - I selected cedar 🌲
The preparation process is like attending a chemistry class 🧪
When you receive the drink, it has a Yonghe Temple aroma, as if one sip could purify your body and mind
The taste starts with a Negroni base but has more complexity
From presentation to flavor, I absolutely love this one
.
I also tried ✅Jade Garden and ✅Sour Grapes, which have light, refreshing flavors with low alcohol content, suitable for those with lower tolerance
The menu is designed like a map 🗺, Let's city drink 🥂
