I went to Toba Aquarium in Toba, Mie Prefecture! I arrived at around 12 o'clock on a weekday in August, and the parking lot was only available on the first floor and the rooftop! The otters' feeding time was from 13:00, so I headed to the otter area as soon as I entered! As expected, Mei-chan and Kira-chan are very popular🦦 There were already a lot of people there! There were about 40 minutes until feeding time, but the time flew by as I watched Mei-chan and Kira-chan swimming smoothly! During feeding time from 13:00, I was healed by watching them play happily with the zookeepers🦦The feeding time was about 30 minutes, but it was so cute that it flew by🫶 I've become a big fan of Mei-chan and Kira-chan, so I'd like to go again soon🥹 In addition to Mei-chan and Kira-chan, it was fun to meet cute sea creatures such as finless porpoises and sea lions! The inside of the aquarium is very cool, so it's a recommended place even on hot summer days😊

The aquarium is divided into 12 zones, and displays marine and river creatures that live in various environments. This is the only place in the world that keeps both the dugong and the African manatee, which are said to be the models for the mermaid legend.
